What got you into teaching?
I love being able to share my knowledge and see the students grow and improve.
What styles of dance do you teach?
I teach Blueberries and ballet
What is your favourite group to teach?
I love all ages, particularly younger ages.
What is your style of teaching?
I like to have a friendly, calm style of teaching with lots of joy and attention to detail.
What inspires you when it comes to choreographing?
Music is the biggest inspiration for me when it comes to choreographing.
What do you love most about dance?
I love the freedom and individuality each dancer has whilst still maintaining such discipline and commitment.
What do you love most about teaching?
I love being able to help and support the students through a fun and exciting learning environment.
What are your top tips for students to get the most out of class?
Listening, and try to remember their corrections from previous classes.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
In my spare time I love to do pilates, go on bushwalks and cooking.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
I would say my parents have been my biggest influence on my life as they are always supportive and encourage me to always challenge myself.
Tell us about your personal fashion style.
I like to dress casual although love going out and dressing nicely.
What’s your favourite quote?
One quote I love is, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”
Where would you go on your dream holiday?
My dream holiday would be to hike the Swiss Alps and travel through Europe.
