Dance Experience

Sandra’s life is dance.

She was first hired as a dance professional when she was just 10 years old with JC Williamson’s. She continued as a professional performer for 20 years after that before moving into teaching, first in Sydney and then in Canberra.

In February 1993, she was appointed Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance and has continued to this work around the world.

Sandra  co-founded Australia’s first registered dance course in state high schools in partnership with private dance teachers. She was also the Owner and Director of the Canberra Youth Ballet School until April 2009, when she moved into freelance teaching.

She returned to Sydney in 2012 and now enjoys working in several Sydney schools. Her reputation preceding herself, she’s in wide demand and travels to various parts of Australia as a guest teacher. Her life of dance is testament to her love for the arts and working with children around the world.
