Eisteddfod Troupes

The Dance Central Eisteddfod Troupes are about becoming the best dancer you can be, embracing your individuality and empowering you to realize your full potential. Our culture of positive attitudes, and mutual respect along with great sportsmanship are key values to flourishing in the troupe program.

What is Eisteddfod?

The Eisteddfod originated as a Welsh festival and competition of the performing arts and has roots that go as far back as the 12th century. Since then, regional, national, and international competitions have continued to be held the world over. In Australia, Eisteddfods have been in existence since the late 19th century.
