FAQ for Youth Classes

Frequently Asked Questions about Youth Classes

What do I need to bring?

Bring a water bottle, a sweat towel, your dancing shoes, and a positive attitude! For recommended footwear, it really depends on the dance style and the class level. Please refer to our class descriptions for recommended footwear.

Do you have a uniform?

Nope. We’re a uniform-free school, although we do have DC Merchandise available at the studio.

What level should my child start at?

Speak to any of our friendly administration staff to help us level your child appropriately. We can always adjust the enrolment as needed. If the class isn’t working out and a suitable level is not available, we are able to offer a refund of the fee for the remaining weeks of the term if the request is placed within two weeks of enrolment.

Am I able to do a make-up class if my child is sick?

Absolutely. Contact our office and we can organise a make-up session for you.

How do I book?

You can create an account on our convenient online booking portal, where you can see all available classes, view your outstanding invoices and more. If you’d like one-on-one assistance, get in touch! Call, email, or visit us in our Dance Central Office at Phillip.

What if the class I want is fully booked?

The next step is to get on our waiting list for the next term. If places become available, we’ll contact you!

Can parents watch the class?

We do not allow any spectators in our classes. This allows the children to focus and maintains our privacy standards. Family and friends are welcome to view classes during our Open Week which runs during the last 15 minutes of each class in week 10.
