Why are my card details needed for a free trial?

This is an automatic process of the system we are using for DC Online. Worry not – you will not be charged as long as you cancel your subscription for DC Online by Sunday 26 April!

Can I use my credit to pay for these classes?

Customer credits cannot go towards packages and subscriptions for DC Online. Our online classes are run through a completely different platform. We have secured the 3-week credit awarded to all families from Term 1 for when DC physically reopens after the COVID 19 closure.

How do I cancel a subscription or rental?

Log into your DC Online account, and click ‘Dashboard’ in the top right corner. From there, select ‘Billing’, and scroll down until you find ‘Active Plan’. Underneath this is the button ‘Change Plan’. Click here and then ‘Cancel Membership’. If you no longer want to access DC Online, you’re all done!

If you’d prefer to simply change to a weekly rental, you will first have to cancel your membership as above. Then, head to the DC Online homepage and select the collection you are interested in, i.e. Blueberries Collection. Click ‘Get Access Now’, and then select the rental option at checkout.

Please note: you will not be able to purchase a weekly rental if your subscription has not expired.

How long are the classes available?

New classes will be uploaded each week, but if you loved a previous lesson and want to do it again, all the classes will remain on the website for as long as your subscription allows.

Can I download videos to watch offline?

As all choreography is intellectual property of Dance Central, we do not allow any of our videos to be downloaded, shared or copied.  

How do I pay for the classes?

Individual collections are available for weekly rental, or you can purchase a monthly subscription that allows access to all four collections. Payments must be made in order to access the videos. This can be done either through PayPal or through credit or debit cards. Please note that the transaction fees are much higher if paying by card, so Dance Central recommends that families use PayPal.  

Do I have to purchase an account for each family member?

Your entire household can use the one account with DC Online! We encourage the whole family to use it as much as they can!

What devices is DC Online available on?

DC Online is accessible anytime and from anywhere with access available on most devices including iOS devices, Android devices, Macs and PCs.

I’m having technical difficulties. Who do I contact?

If you are having any issues with the online classes, please send an email to info@dance-central.com.au. Please do not call the Dance Central phone or come into the office. We do not have a staff member consistently available to take phone calls, nor will there be anyone in the office. We also ask that you do not try and contact us via social media, as we will not be regularly checking these platforms.  

I/my child would love for a particular style or level to be added to the website. Who do I contact?

If you are particularly interested in a class that we do not have available on DC Online, you can either send an email to info@dance-central.com.au, or you can leave a comment on one of the videos. If we have enough interest, we will definitely consider adding it! 

Am I still covered under Dance Central’s insurance policy for DC Online?

As we are unable to control the environment that you are dancing in, we are not liable for any injury or accident that occurs as a result of taking a DC Online class. We recommend that you have enough space to dance, and ensure that you select a level appropriate for your age, skill level or overall level of flexibility. If you have an existing injury seek advice from a medical practitioner.
