At long last, I’ve pulled these recipes out of my memory and on to the page. These are my Bliss Balls. They are DA BOMB as workout snacks — especially during a long training sesh —because they provide a lot of energy in a short amount of time.
It’s not always easy to pinpoint the optimal time to eat so you get the energy kick when you need it. These balls are great for getting you back that concentration, that focus so you don’t suffer from The Slump.
Best of all, they taste AWESOME, and they can be made in bulk and stored in the freezer so you can whip them out for when you need them. But please — they are NOT a meal replacement! Uh uh. These babies are to be treated as nutrient-dense bites to get that pick-me-up, so please don’t make a gazillion of them and eat them like meatballs and then call it Dinner.

These look a lot like my Raw Choc Bliss Balls, but they’re actually Raw Vegan Chocolate Coconut truffles from Rawspirations — a Canberra foodie blogger with some uh-mazing recipes. Check out www.rawspirations.com | Photo credit: Rawspirations
