The Official Launch of #GotUrBack

Launching #GotUrBack, a new anti-bullying initiative.

100% of proceeds will go towards DKC, our youth ambassadors who will represent Australia at the World Hip Hop Championships.

Fancy a glass of bubbles (or two), delish canapés, music, and surprise entertainment amongst some of Canberra’s most interesting women? Join us for a Saturday of High Tea, DC style!

This High Tea event has been created to help our kids street dance crew DKC fund their trip to Arizona USA to compete in Hip Hop International, August 2017.

Tickets cost $85 per person and includes

Guest Speakers

Helen Roe is a Marketer, Business Coach and Youth Advocate for Teen Girls. Helen’s book, GirlTribes,  supports teen girls to not only survive, but thrive in their media world. Helen will deliver engaging and empowering insights on Media Marketing.

Angie Ford is a mindset coach, and preferred sparring partner of world-class athletes, business leaders and creative arts performers. She will be talking about the powerful concept of “got your back”

These kids are on fire and need our help to make our dreams come true

DKC is a kids crew consisting of eight kids (8 -12 years of age), training after school for 8 hours per week. They are passionate, highly motivated and truly love what they do. DKC has recently been announced Australia’s number 2 in one of the world’s most recognised street dance competition, Hip Hop International. Now presented with the opportunity to represent our country at the World Finals in Phoenix, Arizona USA on 8 August 2017, we are seeking support to help make this dream a reality!

We ask that you join us in celebration of their success by attending this event! 

 

Funding goal

Our fundraising target is $50,000 AUD. Through various fundraising activities and community backing, we believe we can achieve this goal by July 2017. We are committed to ensuring no child is left behind due to the huge financial investment that is required to get them to Arizona, and we’re determined to see these kids perform on the world stage and fulfill their dreams.

 

How these funds will be used

The funds will be used to pay for travel, accommodation, food, costume and extra training sessions for all eight dancers.
